Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides new rules when buying goods or services. Consumers may exercise the right to reject faulty goods, the right to repair or replacement and the right to price reduction. The rights are also available for services which consumers can ask for repeat performance and price reduction. The outcome of this law not only brings confidence to consumers but also enhances the growth of economics. Consumer protection laws in Thailand have shared quite the same experiences of development as in England. However, in Thailand, consumers still have limited rights. Applying legal principles under Consumer Rights Act 2015, such as stipulating new consumer rights and offering protection for the purchase of digitised products or other services to consumer protection laws in Thailand, shall modernise and make the laws more aligned with the present time.
