Guidelines for the Prevention of Violence and Harassment to Labour Standards of the International Labour Organization: C 190 Violence and Harassment Convention 2019 and R 206
Violence and Harassment Recommendation 2019
Legal measures to protect workers in the private sector and state enterprises in Thailand are not in accordance with the labour standards of the International Labour Organization: C 190 Violence and Harassment Convention 2019 and R 206 Violence and Harassment Recommendation 2019. Therefore, the law must be improved to provide broader protection against sexual harassment. This includes adding provisions prohibiting the harassment of employees in workplaces, empowering labor inspectors to issue work stoppage or transfer orders, and requiring
workplaces to implement policies on harassment and violence.
