With the rapid development of advanced technology, the legal development is necessitated to meet the challenging circumstances. To prevent the abuse of technology, safeguarding the right and freedom of individuals, the European Union has promulgated General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR. GDPR prescribes the guidelines for data protection, usage of data, transmission of data to third parties, including the relevant penalty. Interestingly, the regulation also encompasses technology and legal terminologies in English for educational purposes and future references.
